2/23/2023 1 Comment Winter HarmonyThe world is white, a canvas pure, As snowflakes gently swirl and twirl. Amidst the hush, I spy a blur Of black and white, a magpie's curl. Against the snow, the bird's feathers gleam, A striking contrast in this scene. With knowing eyes, the magpie seems To take it all in, calm and serene. The snow falls on, a never-ending stream, The magpie flits about, never to preen. A winter's day, a peaceful dream, Where beauty reigns and all is clean. And in this moment, I realize, How nature's gifts can harmonize. The snow and magpie, a sight to prize, A scene that's etched within my eyes.
