10/8/2014 0 Comments Move Over, Mrs. Markham | MorpheusMove Over, Indeed! This was the first Morpheus Theatre show of the season, and it was an absolute riot! It was probably one of the funniest farces we've seen. The show was written in 1969, and had all of the qualities of an English Farce - mistaken identities, a lot of slamming doors, unexpected visitors and a lot of sexy happenings! The characters were priceless, and included all of the stereotypes we'd expect to see - a shy and nerdy husband, a brash and unapologetic best friend, a sexy nanny, a prudish old woman, an old drunk pretending to be the father-in-law, a clueless blonde, and a is-he-or-isn't-he closeted interior decorator. The action and dialogue were quick, and had us in stitches the whole time. It was quirky and charming, and everything we needed it to be! Well done!
